What is Tajweed?
Tajweed linguisticallyis the Arabic word and its meaning “proficiency” or making clear sound of every word. Itmeans giving every letter of Qur’an its rights when we recite Quran. Each Arabic letter has a Makhraj (an exit or articulation point from which it originates) and Sifaat (attributes or characteristics). Learning the Makhraj and Sifaat of each letter is an important part of tajweed.
Tajweed Course is designed for children. We have 3 months short course of Tajweed to giving a lesson in proper way. Without rules of tajweed you cannot read Quran in the way it was revealed. It’s essential for all of us to learn Quran with the rules of tajweed.
